Planting boxes transform roofs into pleasant spaces and reduce summer heat gain inside the building. These boxes expand the standard rectangle into the maker's initials which are overgrown in the summer but visable in the winter.
Bronx Fab features work from the fab lab (fabrication laboratory) associated with Sustainable South Bronx. The rapid prototyping facilities allow individuals to turn ideas into objects.
